Key Points:

• Converging lines of evidence suggest that OCD involves dysfunction of limbic cortico-striato-thalamo-cortico loops including the orbitofrontal cortex, medial prefrontal cortex (mPFC) and anterior cingulate cortex (ACC).

• The H7 Coil was FDA-cleared for treatment-refractory OCD based on results of two RCTs. Subsequently, a 510K clearance was granted to the D-B80 and iron-core figure-8 coils.

• The physical properties of these coils differ from the H7 Coil, resulting in different functional properties.
