Job Duties:

  • Represents medical device manufacturing company by screening incoming telephone calls; recording and transmitting messages; and greeting visitors
  • Educates patients about the company's treatment and refers them to clinics; Follow up with the patients to ensure that they have contacted the clinic. Maintains records of patients' calls.
  • Ensures team productivity by maintaining calendars; scheduling appointments; professional meetings, conferences; teleconferences, and travel arrangements.
  • Prepares operational notes, manuscripts and correspondence; planning, organizing, coordinating and controlling projects.
  • Provides historical references by developing and utilizing filing and retrieval systems; maintaining patient records; recording meeting discussions.
  • Secures information by completing database back-ups.
  • Complies with patient and operational confidentiality procedures.
  • Maintains office supplies inventory including placing and expediting orders and verifying receipts.
  • Ensures proper function of office equipment by troubleshooting breakdowns; performing preventive maintenance and calling for repairs.
  • Ensures quality results by following and enforcing standards.
  • Serves and protects the health care community by adhering to professional standards, federal, state, and local requirements, and Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO) standards.
  • Consistently participates in educational opportunities including reading professional documents and publications.
  • Enhances the company office reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • General office experience required, experience with ERP preferred.
  • Must be able to work independently
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, specifically excel.
  • Excellent organizational, time management and interpersonal skills
  • Customer service oriented
